The exterior of this striking CL500, presented here in period correct metallic silver over light grey leather, is in overall good condition, with the majority of the panels and trims presenting very well for their age. There are, however, a couple of patches of lacquer peel, one of which could arguably be touched in, but the roof will require some light bodywork to rectify. The factory-option AMG wheels present in great condition from the age, showing some evidence that they've been refurbished in the past. 

On the inside, things are even better, with the light grey leather seats presenting really well, with no staining, excessive wear or damage. The electrical adjustment works on all of them, as well as the flip down rear head rests. The carpets, dashboard and switchgear are also all in good order, and everything works including the satellite navigation system. The fit and finish is exactly as you'd expect for a 2000 CL500. 
 
Mechanically, the car drives well overall, however a couple of small things will need looking at, namely a small idle misfire and the tracking being slightly out. Aside from those, however, the engine pulls well, the gearbox changes seamlessly, and the suspension and chassis feel good. The adjustable ride height and sport damping work as expected. In terms of history, the car has numerous service stamps as well as a folder of paperwork coming to well in excess of £10k, for many maintenance and replacement items. The tyres have tread, but some perishing to a couple, so these would benefit from being changed.
